Obstrktif uyku apne sendromu (OSAS) serebrovaskler sistemle ilikili birok komplikasyona yol aabilmektedir. Hipoksi, inflamasyon, oksidatif stres ve hiperkoaglabilite, serebrovaskler patolojinin geliiminde rol oynayan patofizyolojik mekanizmalardr. Bu yazda sins ven trombozu ile seyreden ve pozitif havayolu basnc tedavisi ile semptomlarnda dzelme izlenen 31 yanda bir OSAS olgusu sunulmutur.

A Case of Sinus Venous Thrombosis Caused by Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome

Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) can lead to many complications associated with cere-brovascular system. Pathophysiological mechanisms in the development of cerebrovascular pathology include hypoxia, inflammation, oxidative stress and hypercoagulability. Herein, we report a 31-year-old patient with OSAS which was associated with sinus venous thrombosis whose symptoms improved with positive airway pressure therapy.
